Aberdeen Football Club Prize Contest Terms and Conditions

 1. The Promoter

The promoter is: Aberdeen Football Club of Pittodrie Stadium, Pittodrie St, Aberdeen AB24 5QH, UK.

 2. The competition

2.1 The title of the contest is Aberdeen FC Madri Lounge Experience Feedback

 3. How to enter

3.1 Competition dates

The competition will run from 1000 on 9 March 2024 (the “Opening Date”) to 0900 on 11 March 2024  (the “Closing Date”) inclusive.

3.2 Competition entry deadline

All competition entries must be received no later than (insert time) on the Closing Date. All entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.

3.3. To enter the competition:

(a) Enter online

Enter the competition by creating an online account and participating in the survey.

3.4 No purchase necessary

3.5 The Promoter will not accept:

(a) Competition entries

Responsibility for competition entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or

3.6 Terms and conditions

By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

3.9 Judging criteria

The winner will be chose at random based on the completion of creating an account, and by full participation in all the engagement: Aberdeen FC Madri Lounge Feedback. If not enough responses are received, then this contest will close and open again until quota is met. Winner will be drawn after that.

 4. Eligibility

4.1 Competition residents

The competition is only open to all residents in the UK [aged 18 years or over].

4.2 Eligibility to enter

In order to enter the competition, you confirm that you are eligible and eligible to claim any prize that may be awarded. The Promoter may require proof of eligibility in order to enter the competition.

4.3 The Promoter will not accept competition entries that are:

(a) automatically generated by computer;

(b) completed by third parties or in bulk;

4.4 Limit of one entry

There is a limit of one entry per person.

4.5 Disqualification

The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of this prize competition.

 5. The prize

5.1 Number of prizes

The prize is a signed Northern Lights away shirt.

5.2 Substitutions

The Promoter will not be responsible for the inability to claim your prize, and there will be no transfers or substitutions offered if the prize is unclaimed.

5.3 Claiming Prize

In order to claim the prize you must send a written confirmation back to the Promoter within 3 days of winning announcement.

 

6. Winners

6.1 Final decision

The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

6.2 Contact the winner

The Promoter will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable after the Announcement Date, using the account that was provided to sign up for the survey. [The Promoter will not amend any contact information once the competition entry form has been submitted.]

6.3 Publishing winners

The Promoter must publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will possibly publish the surname of the prize winners and, if applicable, their winning entries in chosen media outlets.

 7. Claiming the prize

7.1 Claiming the prize

You will have 3 days from the Announcement Date to claim the prize by sending a written declaration via email, in accordance with condition. If you do not claim the prize by this date, your claim will become invalid.

7.2 Third-party claims

The prize cannot be claimed by a third party on your behalf.

7.3 Claiming prize

If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed their prize within 3 days of the Announcement Date, then the Promoter reserves the right to offer the prize to an eligible entrant selected from among those entries that were received before the Closing Date.

7.4 Promoter not responsible

The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.

 8. Limitation of liability

Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors (whether acting in their individual capacity or as part of a group) or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

 9. Ownership of competition entries and intellectual property rights

9.1 Competition entry

All competition entries and any accompanying material submitted to the Promoter will become the property of the Promoter on receipt and will not be returned OR The Promoter does not claim any rights of ownership in your competition entry.

9.2 Competition entry

By submitting your competition entry and any accompanying material, you agree to:

(a) Assign intellectual property

Assign to the Promoter all your intellectual property rights with full title guarantee and your competition entry and otherwise arising in connection with your entry to which you may now or at any time in the future be entitled under the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988 as amended from time to time and under all similar legislation from time to time in force anywhere in the world.

9.3 Competition entry

You agree that the Promoter may, but is not required to, make your entry available on its website and any other media, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the competition. You agree to grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, worldwide (for a period of 5 years), irrevocable license to use, display, publish (including transmitting and copying), copy (including altering), store (including re-formatting) and sublicense the competition entry [and any accompanying materials] for such purposes.

 10. Data protection and publicity

10.1 Personal information

The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out in the Privacy Policy. See also condition 6.2 and condition 6.3, with regard to the announcement of winners.

 

11. General

11.1 Breach of terms

If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, suspend or terminate your participation in the competition.

11.2 Promoter’s right

If it becomes necessary to do so, the Promoter reserves the right to void, suspend, cancel or amend the prize competition.

11.3 Governing law

If you are a consumer, please note that the terms of this policy, its subject matter and its formation are governed by English law. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction except that if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are a resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.
